ANGEL MOREY-NOBLE

REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 6, PUERTO RICO HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

Angel Morey-Noble entered the Puerto Rico House of Representatives on June 1, 2021, in a special election after former State Legislator Antonio Soto resignation on February 28, 2021. As a member of the Finance and Budget Commission quickly rose to become the Minority Ranking Member for the New Progressive Party.

His priorities as a member of the house include the economic growth of the economy, education and ensure the mandate of the Puerto Rican’s voters to become the 51st State of the Union in both plebiscite by 61.3% in November 2012 and 97% in July 2017. The Representative has sponsored and co-sponsored legislation to improve the economic conditions on the island, education, municipalities reforms and transport and infrastructure.

Prior to being elected to the Puerto Rico House of Representatives he was elected to the Guaynabo Municipal Assembly where he serves from January to June 2021 as Alternate Majority Leader and Vice President of the Economic Development and Budget Commission.

Before entering into the public service, he worked for over 20 years in the financial services and insurance industries. Serving as Vice President of Investments for nationwide Planning Associates, Aegis Capital Corp and UBS Financial Services. Also, he has experience in the banking, communications and advertising industries, where he held positions as product marketing manager for FirstBank Puerto Rico, district sales manager for Celpage and as an account executive for a local advertising agency, Comunicadora Nexus.

Currently he is registered in Puerto Rico and Florida with Finra, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and holds several licenses. Also, from 2010 to 2013 he did volunteer work for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and from 2014 to 2021 for Fundacion CAP. In 1996 he serves as Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs committee of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. The Representative holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a Major in Marketing Management from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon.
